Yin Yoga 10:00 a.m.-Noon
This class focuses on basic alignment principles, and developing heightened body awareness. Build strength and flexibility with a functional approach to yoga. A well-rounded practice to suit all levels.
Deepening into Yoga:
A moderately paced class focused on detailed alignment with an emphasis on strength and flexibility thru sustained holds in the postures, and the study of pranayama (breathing techniques) that facilitate tranquility and mental clarity. All levels.
Dedicated to nurturing and expanding flexibility. This class combines passive and active postures to create lengthening in the tissues and allowing the boxy to release and relax.
Mindful Yoga Flow:
Experience mindful movement. This class focuses on the postures and the movement we take between the postures. Learn how to transition gracefully and effectively.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced passive practice that focuses on nourishing the connective tissue in the joints, and allowing chi or energy to move through the body. This class will focus on long-held seated and supine postures.
River Street Dance Theater is located at 421 N 2nd Street in Hamilton.
Weekly on-going classes are $12 drop in, or 4 classes for $40 (you do not have to come to 4 classes in a row).
